Education
Bachelor's Degree in Law from Universidad Anáhuac del Sur (Class of 1988-1993); Professional License No. 2108520; Thesis: "Contention in Industrial Property in Mexico"; Postgraduate Studies at Universidad Panamericana (UP) in Criminal Law (1997), Amparo Law (2000), Commercial Law (2001), Civil Law (2002), and Administrative Law (2006); Specialist License in Administrative Law No. 5740177 issued by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP). Specialization in Criminal Law (Specialist in Oral Trials within the new Adversarial Accusatory System in Mexico) at Escuela Libre de Derecho, 2014 – 2015, enabling expanded protection and safeguarding of Zavala Patmark clients' rights through access to this new system.
This new skill positively impacts litigation in Intellectual and Industrial Property at Zavala Patmark, allowing the firm to represent clients with the highest standard of responsibility and professional knowledge when their interests are affected by acts of piracy, disclosure, or misappropriation of trade secrets. It ensures the protection of their rights from the Investigation stage to the Oral Trial Hearing, without compromising the ability to evaluate the convenience of implementing alternative solutions or early termination of the procedure when deemed appropriate, whether through a reparatory agreement, conditional suspension of the process, or an abbreviated procedure, always seeking to ensure that damages are repaired.
Given that the training allows the specialist both the authority to represent the victim or offended party in a criminal process as well as to represent the defense of a defendant, the skills acquired provide an ad hoc perspective for the comprehensive, transparent, and expedited analysis and resolution of each case.
